You can use cotton ball or cleansing pad for this step.
It is important to cleanse face before starting facial. Tie your hair back and away from face with a hair band. Put some cleansing cream or lotion on your left palm (if you are right-handed). With the help of cleansing pad spread the cleansing cream or lotion around your face and neck. Very gently massage your face for five to ten minutes using the cleansing pad or fingers.

Rubbing ice cubes on face help close skin pores
After cleansing, wipe your face and neck with tissue paper to remove any remaining cleanser off the face. Rub an ice cube on your face, around your eyes and on your necks at least two or three times. Rubbing ice cube on your skin will close pores.

Moving your thumbs up and down your nose gives a nice massage.
Now you are ready to begin facial. Be in very relaxed position. Make sure that your facial muscles are absolutely relaxed. Spread cold cream in dots all over your face and neck. Remember to massage with soft hands. Put your hands right above your ears and place your both thumbs by your nose. Gently glide the thumbs up and down your nose for at least five times to ten times or until the cold cream is completely observed. This is your nose massage.

Eye area is the most sensitive area of the entire face.
This step is about your eye massage. Always use first fingers of your both hands for eye massage. Move your first fingers under and around the eyes very softly from corner of your nose to the corner of ears. Repeat this step for no more than five times. Do not rub the skin under your eyes! This is the most sensitive area of your face.

Massage your cheeks in circular motion using your fingers.
Move your fingers in circles around your cheeks. This is the best exercise of your face. Make sure to circle your cheeks at least 15 to 20 times to get the blood flow going.

Neck massage is also part of the facial.
Move your hands up and down your neck at least 15 to 20 times. Your hand should follow your other hand in the massage movement.

Use your own judgement about how close you want to get close to the steamer.
After massage, steam your face and neck. Time range depends on your steamer type. Please read instructions carefully before using steamer and use your own judgement about how long your face can take the steam. Do not get too close to the steam if your skin is sensitive or broken.

      Blackhead remover
Remove blackheads with the help of blackhead remover (available at beauty stores like Sally's and Ulta) only if you have any! Usually women have it on the nose and cheeks. Make sure to read instructions on how to use blackhead remover before using it.
