Instructions
things you'll need:
- Blow-dryer
- Flat, paddle brush
- Fine-tooth comb
- Hair gel
- Hair spray
- 1Begin with freshly shampooed, damp bangs. Brush your bangs forward with a flat, paddle brush. If your bangs are extremely short, use a fine-tooth comb. Comb along the part, moving your hair neatly in place.
- 2Squirt a pea-sized amount of hair gel into your hands and then rub it into the bangs. The gel will help keep your hair trained in the right direction.
- 3Put your brush under your bangs and pull the bangs to the side opposite the side you want your part to be on.
- 4Turn the blow-dryer on low and point the barrel of the appliance about 6 to 8 inches from the hair. Do not blow-dry your hair on a high speed as this may make your hair frizzy or make the bangs appear uneven.
- 5Use the brush or comb to blow-dry the hair downward. While blow-drying smooth the bangs with a downward, and to the side, motion.
- 6Turn off the blow-dryer. Arrange the short, fringe bangs with your fingers. Position the wisps where you like them. Spray them in place with a light misting of hairspray.
