How to Make a Mom Calendar

How to Make a Mom Calendarthumbnail
Notebook paper can become the basis for your mom calendar.
To keep track of your daily tasks around town and the work that needs to be done for your home or business, a "mom" calendar can be an essential tool. While regular calendars mark the days of the month, a mom calendar can track the schedules of each member of your household all in one place. With just a pencil and paper you can make a calendar that simplifies your family scheduling and can keep you on track for making appointments and helping your children prepare for tests and games.

Instructions

things you'll need:

  • Notebook or loose-leaf paper
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
    • 1
Divide your paper up into vertical columns between the margins using enough columns for every family member plus one. If you have a large family--more than five people,--you may want to prepare two pages of paper.
    • 2
Number each of the rows on the page from one to 31 inside the left margin. Start numbering on line one of the page, not above the uppermost horizontal line.
    • 3
Skip over the first column and write the names of your family members across the tops of the other columns to give each family member their own column on the calendar. Be sure you are writing above the uppermost horizontal line.
    • 4
Write the name of the month at the top of the page. Write the days of the week, according to the month you are labeling in the first column on the page next to your numbered column.
    • 5
Fill your calendar with important events and things to remember, sorting it by day and the family member involved.
