How to get Bridal Manicure at Home

Bridal Manicure at Home

bridal manicure
Your hands will be in focus on your wedding day. Everybody wants to look at your wedding rings. Of course you want you hands and nails to be perfect on this day. If you are a nail-biter, now is the perfect time to stop that bad habit.
Apply hand cream to prevent dry, cracking skin. The softer your hands are, the more resistant they will be against weather and wind. Nail and hairs consist of dead skin cells that grow from the skin. The keratin ties the cells together. A nail grows approximately ½ centimeters per month. Start getting weekly manicures about three months before your wedding day, to get your hands in top form.
Your nails should be treated carefully. Steel files or other sharp objects may not be used. When you file, start at one edge and move across the top in one fluid motion.
Apply a base coat to each nail. Then paint two coats of the nail colour.
Remember to use gloves then you do the dishes or wash up. Washing detergents are not good for your hands and nails.
Nail polish protects the nail and makes it stronger.
Protect your nails and do not use them as tools. Use the end of a pencil to dial the phone.

Manicure
  • Remove old polish with nail polish remover and cotton

French manicure
French manicure is very beautiful, if you want an unpainted look. Paint the tip of the nail with white nail polish. Then paint coats of a pink or beige colour over the whole nail. Practice a couple of times before the wedding day.
Decorated nails
To decorate one or more nails with beads, rhinestones, etc can be gorgeous.
Use the same nail polish for both your finger- and toenail.
